Book excerpt: Turbulence is ubiquitous in interstellar media and the magnetic field is the most importantforce in the universe, second to gravity. How magnetic field interacts with turbulence is still a mystery to astrophysicists due to the lack of both theoretical understanding and observational measurements. Not until the last decade when we have the modern theory of magneto-hydrodynamic turbulence and the precise interferometric measurements could we disentangle the complex interactions between magnetic fields and the underlying multi-phase interstellar media. My thesis will discuss how do we predict magnetic fields, both directions, and strength, in interstellar media from a theoretical point of view. On top of that, I will also discuss the statistics of magnetized ISM, including how different fundamental MHD modes interact with magnetic fields. More importantly, I shall also cover how magnetic field helps the formation and stability of cold neutral media (HI), including its aspect ratio and some of the observational evidence to my work
