It is the invisible support to the visible world. In Buddhism, the monks that chant ""Aum"" recognize the silence at the end as a necessary part of the word, or chant, to bring about the next Aum. The silence is integral, and thus, part of the word. It is just hidden to those uninitiated in such Oriental philosophies. This book of poetry seeks to find the hidden things in our lives that often go unrepresented or unnoticed, and to initiate the reader into them. And then, hopefully, the reader will find that hidden place within that supports all that they truly are, and all they have ever been.
