Book excerpt: A stand-alone novella based on the characters from The Eisen Project. In this book, Leon Afflelou is persuaded by the British SOE to undertake a trip to Casablanca where he must meet with the Pasha of Morocco and influence his loyalties within the region. However, neither Afflelou nor the British SOE can foresee what confronts him when he gets to the Pasha’s retreat, high in the Atlas Mountains. What is a simple, yet politically volatile mission, Leon finds that he is not the only one vying for the Pasha’s ear, and he must use his native charm as well as an unsubstantiated promise to swing the pendulum in his favour. This novella is an addition to The Eisen Project series. It can be considered as Part 1.1 in the Series.
