The aim of this book was to help my mum, lillian, remember her past as her dementia took its charge. It has helped me, family members and carers to continue to 'appreciate' what an interesting life she must have had and helps give us something to talk to her about. A further benefit of this little book is that it preserves some old recipes which may otherwise be lost forever as well as celebrating an aspect of women's history which could easily be overlooked.
