He mounted two gems for eyes, in the dragons head on the bow. The dragon Fafnir, which owned the gems, flew in. With a fireball it set fire to the Viking ship. It also bit off the head ornament on the bow, together with the two stones. This was the same dragon which had kidnapped “Bylgja” daughter of the Norse sea god Ægir, and held her captive on Scary Island, She had to be saved. Karlsen builds a new, identical ship and has a crew of four to sail it to Scary Island to save her.
