Book excerpt: Differential cross sections were measured at incident photon energies from 3.4 to 4.0 BeV and at meson center-of-mass angles from about 25 to 45 degrees. The momenta, velocities and angles of the mesons were measured using a magnetic spectrometer and the gamma ray energy was determined by doing bremsstrahlung subtractions. The cross sections, when compared at the same total center-of-mass energy and center-of-mass angle, agree very well with the inequality given by the symmetry theory of SU(3).
