It originally started as a subscription based service in 1999 and then within 10 years it contained over 100,000 titles with over 10 million subscribers. In 2015, they have seen a large increase of customers where they have over 69 million subscribers. This is partially due to their expansion into different markets so through this they have increased they customer base.
