Her work is primarily supported by the Imperial Cancer Research Fund. Together with Mic Rolph, she has written many science books for children. Mic Rolph, illustrator, is a former graphic designer for television. His work includes the illustrations for Cells Are Us, Cell Wars, DNA Is Here to Stay, Amazing Schemes Within Your Genes, Brainbox and Microbes, Bugs and Wonder Drugs.
