The Editors: Gerhild Zybatow is professor of Slavic linguistics at the Slavic Department at the University of Leipzig. In 1995, the editors called into being FDSL - the European forum for the formal description of Slavic languages. The FDSL-conferences take place biannually in Leipzig and Potsdam.
