Ash and Cleo travelled off-world, taking on new identities to hid from Cleo’s father. Ash found work in lunar mining operations, far from prying eyes, but alongside the replicants she used to hunt. In 2022, Replicant production was banned altogether. Remaining Nexus 8 units were permitted to live out their lifespans in service to their owners in the colonies. Following the blackout, the Tyrell Corporation went bankrupt. In 2026, Ash’s mining colony is attacked by a group of rogue Nexus 8 models, who free their Replicant comrades and destroy the ship Ash and Cleo are stationed on. Cleo survives thanks to Padraic, a sympathetic Replicant, and together they flee into space with the renegades…
