The assessment was intended to examine current motor carrier enforcement operations and to evaluate the cost justification of a mobile motor carrier enforcement plan proposed by the Department's Motor Vehicle Division. This report presents findings from Phase I of the study. It's focus is primarily upon roadside weight, safety, and credentials enforcement for both interstate and intrastate motor carriers.
