The writer pretends to no peculiar skill as a chronicler of events. He hopes, in these few pages, only to bring to mind and preserve some of the pleasurable incidents, and a general outline of what was to the participants the brightest and most enjoyable tour of their lives. The route, which the party traversed, has in guide books and by correspondents been described, both generally and in detail.
