Book excerpt: This empirical study utilized concrete financial/accounting data concerning measures of organizational performance, as reported in Korean Listed Companies Association, to determine the effects of firm size regarding to Korean manufacturers on organizational and large manufacturers were formed, and a comparative analysis was made for the two groups. The result of the study shows that large manufacturers have achieved better organizational performance in terms of sales in $/employee, ordinary income to sales and net income to stockholder's equity; but achieved same performance in terms of inventory turnovers. Conclusively, this study ascertained the impact of firm size on organizational performance to terms of some productivity ratios in Korean manufacturing environment. [Author's abstract].
