The next amendment was. on page 27, line 1, after the word "service," to insert "during the fiscal year ending June 30, 1907, and thereafter;" so as to make the clause read: "Acting or substitute city letter carriers, rural letter carriers, postotfice clerks, railway mall clerks, aud other employees connected with the postal sen-Ice who are temporary employees shall be paid at the usual rate for each day's service during the fiscal year ending June 30. 1907, and thereafter."
