Book excerpt: This study aims to understand spatiotemporal variations in stream water hydrochemistry in a low accessibility river, where river physical contact is limited, and their driving sources. Spatiotemporal variations are studied in three dimensions: (1) at a single river location over time, (2) seasonally at the subsurface, and (3) continuously at multiple locations along the river and some tributaries. The dataset collected throughout the study sheds light on the spatiotemporal changes in the hydrochemistry of the river occurring due to various natural and anthropogenic drivers. Additionally, major contributing sources along the river are identified, and the flow is quantitatively partitioned among the sources. -- From the Abstract.
