Book excerpt: The purpose of the study is to determine the rank order of importance of selected topics covered in Business-Technology Programs as perceived by manufacturing firms in Korea. 500 randomly selected firms listed in the Korean Manufacturing Company Directory (1993) were surveyed. A usable return of 23.00% was received from 115 firms. Respondents were asked to rank each selected topic listed in the survey questionnaire, according to the importance of selected topics to their organizations. Responses from 115 firms were compiled, using descriptive statistics, with the data placed in tables to show the overall rank order of importance of selected topics. Meanwhile, the rank orders of importance of selected topics reported by small and large firms were also examined. [Authors' abstract].
