As she tries to counsel him through his problems, the issues from their shared past begin to arise as Kyrie is once again overwhelmed by her rebellious adolescence. Mentored by her friend and adviser, Sonya, Kyrie tries to balance her personal life with her professional one while struggling to cope with her less than glamorous past. But when she discovers what it is that her ex-boyfriend has been doing all of this time may just send her over the edge. As Kyrie struggles with the emotional roller coaster ride, she will rediscover who she was and how she overcame her hardships, hoping it will lead her through this twisted dark romantic comedy that she has called 'life'.
