One effort was production of muonic hydrogen and muonic deuterium into a vacuum. The study includes rates relevant to muon-catalyzed fusion, and if there are found an adequate number of muons in the 2-S state, then precision energies will be measured. The second effort was to develop plans for kaonic atoms at the kaon factory. In addition, analyses from the experiments with pionic atoms at LAMPF were completed.
