Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This monograph expounds a new general Yang-Mills symmetry, which is based on arbitrary vector gauge functions and Hamilton's characteristic phase functions in the gauge transformations. CPT invariance suggests a Big Jets model for the birth of the universe and implies a maximum matter-antimatter symmetry. It also gives clues to the search for the missing antimatter half of the universe, suggesting that it should have cooled to a 3-K antimatter blackbody. The general dynamic symmetry leads to new phase fields, which satisfy fourth-order field equations and imply a static linear potential. The general SU(3) symmetry gives a new mechanism for quark confinement, which is consistent with the charmonium potentials obtained by the Cornell group (Eichten, Gottfried, Kinoshita, Kogut, Lane, and Yan).
